Denis van Waerbeke studied at Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs where he attained a diploma in Cinema, Animation and Video. He then went onto pursue a certification in History at the Université Paris X Nanterre as well as Literature from Lycée Chaptal. He is a director interested in both computer animation and documentary — Denis tries as often as possible to do both at the same time.
