A UX Designer at Adobe, photographer, DJ, and tinkerer, Pimmel captures beauty compressing photographs into videos, which he then edits and scores. He is driven by a passion for creativity and innovation. A big fan of tactile, analog objects – the feel of vinyl records, the grain of 35mm film, the warmth of vintage synthesizers, as well as the current graphics created using generative code, he combines two concepts in his analog generative work by using physical materials and forces to create a type of generative result. Pimmel is always on a scavenger hunt for the little jewels of perfection nestled in the mundane.
