DIRECTOR’S BIO
Alfonso Camarero was born in A Coruña, Spain, in 1972. He studied philosophy in the university of Santiago de Compostela an audio in the school of image and sound of A Coruña. Is musician (he plays drums and washboard), cook, chess player, sound designer (Shorts, TV Movies, dozens of documentaries and more than 60 Tv Spots), and now director and producer.  In 2008 shot his first film, from an “original” script, with a great crew of technicians and actors from Galicia,  in a self-produced way, thanks to a little subvention of the Galician government. For his first film, the director took a difficult challenge: To tell an absurd story in a realistic way… the outcome is a “kafkian comedy”. The dream of reason produces… The Gynaecologist.
